Ganjala Pass Trekking |
|
| |
Ganjala Pass is considered as one of the steepest and most difficult of the major passes in Nepal. It is closer to the Kathmandu Valley. It offers the superb views with wilderness adventure experience. The Buddhist monasteries, spectacular views of Langtang Lirung, and unique Sherpa culture and life style are the major attraction of this trek. Pass through the lush green forests on the way full of blossoming colorful rhododendron savoring views of Shisa Pangama, Langtang Lirung from Ganjala Pass are majestic.
The views to the north of the Ganja La pass, of Langtang Lirung and the snow peaks in Tibet, including Shisha Pangma are outstanding. On a clear day you will have the stunning views of many mountain ranges to the south.
Ganjala Pass trekking starts from Syabru Bensi and ends at Melamchi Pul Bazaar. Syabru Bensi is the trailhead from treks into the Langtang Valley, situated at the junction of the Bhote Kosi and Langtang Khola. Malemchi Pul Bazaar which has a collection of shops and teahouses is a good finishing point for trek. |
