Monsoons are heavy in the central India. Temperature vary considerable in the northern plains – from hot summer in April, May, & June to monsoons in July, August, & September, and to chilly winter in December & January.
For trekking in the western mountains, the summer season may the best time when the weather is mostly cool & cloud-free. March to October is the best time for traveling in the western Himalayan regions. |
