The Indian Embassy in Kathmandu grants visa permission to foreign tourists for up to six months time period. Transit visa is granted for up to 15 days. An important procedure to remember is that the Embassy grants visas only after receiving the telex clearance from the Indian Mission in the applicant’s home country, which takes at least 7-days.
Gratis Visa: Nationals of Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Hungary, Mongolia, Namibia, Poland, San Merino, Uruguay, South Africa, Argentina and Jamaica are entitled to Gratis visas. |
